You may cast the copy without paying its mana cost. Free spells, which also make all of your creatures stronger, can only be a good thing
In other words, Outlast is at its best when we're not trying to force it as the star of the deck but rather allowing it to take on a more supportive role that amplifies the effectiveness of other strategies
