Collectors pay for the story behind the card as much as the card itself
Im a certified combat enjoyer, so I love basically every card that lets you do even more combat
Nighthawk Scavenger It takes a lot for a beatstick with only keywords to stick out on a list like this, but Nighthawk Scavenger has the right numbers
Each card in the Inkwell is worth just one Ink, and players are able to Exert (turn sideways) as many cards in the Inkwell as necessary to pay Ink costs
You get to set this up for no mana cost, and if you cant get a counter on it in another way, you can just adapt it and get at least one thing into play for free
As one could probably guess, thatll most often be a game-time decision, but seasoned Magic players no doubt have learned that options when casting a spell are always welcome (insert joke about how everything is just a variation on Kicker here)
