Weftstalker Ardent reminds me of Mirkwood Bats: a non-rare thats so clearly powerful in Commander but surrounded by way flashier cards in the same set (think Orcish Bowmasters or The One Ring in Lord of the Rings )

Dolmen Gate says prevent all combat damage that would be dealt to attacking creatures you control. This is a good representation of Karlachs ability to take reduced damage while raging
Having these creatures die and not having anything in the graveyard to reanimate hurts quite a bit, so in the early game, it is sometimes a good idea to try to discard a cheap creature like Evolved Sleeper or Faerie Vandal to Tainted Indulgence or Evangel of Synthesis so we'll have something in our graveyard to reanimate once our Puppeteers and Anointers start hitting the battlefield
With MTG cards from Doctor Who, Warhammer 40,000, Dungeons & Dragons and The Lord of the Rings as its heavy hitters, Universes Beyond has come a long way since the initial take on the idea in the Walking Dead Secret Lair drop
