But the CMC on Varragoth is so low that I really dont think it should be a problem if you have to recast it

This is a one-two punch, especially in Commander where there are plenty of ways to gain a ton of life in a single turn

But whatever's left when X's ability resolves is fair game

Once again, the mana investment for this card is huge, but since it wins the game upon resolution, its definitely worth it

It's got some powerful combos and very effective ways to win games
