Their card back is entirely different to the one found on standard Pokemon cards which are standardised to allow any card to be used when deck building (take a look at our Pokemon card back design guide for more details)
Trample allows all excess damage a creature deals to be dealt to a player, making it even easier to use abilities that trigger when this happens, while reach allows them to block creatures with flying, which can be nasty if left alone

This means you can keep utilizing Teval to generate a ton of Zombie tokens, so long as you have ways to remove cards from your graveyard (which there are plenty of in the deck)
