I feel that in different formats, due to a smaller card pool, the lack of a multiplayer aspect and/or the absence of a social burden to ensure everyone at the table is having a good time, its way easier to spot why a certain card is good

Although a 4 mana and 1 life investment for a 3/2 creature and a draw isnt a great rate, Im always a fan of anything you can keep casting once youve run out of cards in hand
