He invented and perfected holographic technology to make Duel Monsters more immersive, created a Brain Uploading VR game around it, bought out a large chunk of Domino City for his own personal Duel Monsters Tournament and introduced the rules of Tribute Summoning into it because he heard there were three one-of-a-kind ultra-powerful cards somewhere out there (the Egyptian God cards), his personal jet was made to look like his favorite card (Blue-Eyes White Dragon), he created a series of theme-parks around it, he built multiple island-based boarding schools dedicated to teaching people how to play the game as a career, started a space-program to teach aliens how to play it, and built an orbiting space-station with a space-elevator just to practice dueling an AI recreation of his rival
Casting this for three or two mana sounds like a great deal but casting it for one mana is just ludicrous
