Besides the occasionally explosives draws and the Mine interactions, I loved Maverick Thopterist and Enraged Giant
While its abilities and attacks arent incredible (though Pokemon Power: Step In provides a free Switch if necessary), its likely the novelty of it being Dragonites first appearance as well as the brilliantly colorful (and sweetly calming) artwork by Kagemaru Himeno that make this card an absolute classic, and easily the most valuable card from the Pokemon TCGs third set ever.

I have to count that as a terrific year for the Pokmon TCG
While it requires you to track and remember specific things each turn in order to resolve the trigger in the end step, it does remove the need to disrupt the middle of someones turn to announce triggers in the manner required by cards such as Rhystic Study or Smothering Tithe
