It seems like this deck in particular comes with a number of planes to help keep the game moving and prevent board stalls, which makes sense since it is triggering off of combat damage to do many of its tricks
Supreme Verdict is another new card that is getting a lot of play and sometimes taking Wrath of Gods place in decks and while it is certainly good the restrictions from its colours rule it out compared to the likes of the all white version
You then get to put a +1/+1 counter on a creature, which can be good on so, so many cards I think Ill leave that to the imagination (though I like the idea of Sharktocrab), and the creature gains flying until end of turn
