Because Aurora Shifter isn't entering the battlefield when it becomes a copy of another creature, any "When [this creature] enters the battlefield" or "[This creature] enters the battlefield with" abilities of the copied creature won't apply
While the ability is somewhat of a trade-off, card draw in Steel is especially useful without A Whole New World to rely on, and increasing the Strength of a character to draw more cards is a big boon
That Shadow deck in particular took full advantage of Reanimates other big edge: resurrecting opposing creatures under your control is surprisingly useful, especially if you arent playing an all-in Reanimator strategy and are less likely to have a target in your own yard
Hopeless Nightmare Hopeless Nightmare looks like a tiny enchantment, but it punches above its weight
