One of the first ideas that came into my head was a custom card for Sonic the Hedgehog, who fits right in with the red portion of Magic 's color pie (with a large helping of white and a little bit of green)
It also draws you cards in exchange for life, which is about as deep into blacks color pie as you can get
Even better would be a five color commander that ties all the double-faced creatures together, perhaps one that gives you some benefit for transforming
At its peak this Sneasel card was in pretty much everyones deck and for good reason, as it could tip the scales pretty quickly
