Light and Shadow is a way to recur your more important creatures from the graveyard
Bitterthorn, Nissa's Animus (the compleated version of the sword represented in Origins ) provides similar value, though I favor the OGs cheap casting and equip cost
The main commander Pantlaza, Sun-Favor highlights the totally new and definitely-not-cascadey discover mechanic from LCI, though discovers not really a primary theme here
And then it's a triple Glorious Anthem for Spirits only if you have five soul counters here so that's a pretty nice reward for playing it's soul counter game
Even without scavenge, its easy to see this card becoming a 10/10 creature for just 3 mana in the right deck
My sole complaint is that Athreos costs 6 mana, which is an awful lot to ask for from the Command Zone, particularly given the incremental nature of its impact on a Commander game
