The cost reduction is fine but nothing special, and the protection ability is flimsy

I wouldn't expect decks to radically shift as a result of Foundations, and they should at least function similarly

Its also odd that an Item Merchant wouldnt create some kind of token or give you a choice of effects, but the flavor is the least of this cards worries
