The extra mana can be put to work by combo or control decks alike, and while these decks are less incentivized to damage themselves, you can mitigate this downside by pairing it with win conditions and/or interactive spells that effectively leverage the Treasure tokens

None of these are about to rotate out of Standard or the cheapest ever, but rather a good sample of valuable boxes based on the format you play

This card is a massive upgrade to that effect and I expect it to be at least a sideboard staple even if the Goldspan Dragon setup doesnt pan out
