There are plenty of games and shows out there that fit almost perfectly into the Magic design style
They run enough creatures so that the front side is closer to a Spirited Companion than youd think, and the backside is just great
Ive discussed frequently how good spells are that can get rid of token armies, and V.A.T.S
Its a handy way to get around counterspells and sneak those fatties into play
You can do some fun stuff with this in Commander, like using Ashnods Altar to pay the equip cost and looping through Mitotic Slime or Wurmcoil Engine tokens until you swarm the board
