In Constructed, its still an all-star

Theres a nice mix of normal trees and ents shown here, accurately representing the forest from the books, and the way in which the left side is well-lit and the right side is in darkness reflects the morally good yet vengeful nature of the ents in this chapter of the story

I just think the card is well executed it being an artifact plays well with Urzas Saga, Improvise and Springleaf Drum, and unlike Thalia, Guardian of Thraben where youre locked out by the tax, you have the choice with Esper Sentinel which presents interesting in-game decisions as you have to balance the tax on the mana versus providing your opponent with card advantage a similar decision to that of being on the play or on the draw
Once per turn, you may turn a card with an inkwell symbol from your hand into face-down ink, becoming a resource that you can turn sideways to summon characters You use 60-card decks in Constructed, 40-card decks in Limited, and the official website has an excellent "how to play" section
