For its ability, the X value will be 5 from Mirror of Fate, but that hardly even matters--even if X were 1, we just need to be able to find some card to put on the battlefield, which is exactly the missing transition that Vault of Whispers needed for its reuse
The other benefit of the Pikachu Illustrator card is that at least it has a nice image on it, one drawn by original Pikachu artist Atsuko Nishida
For context: I played the game with two players, Im a huge fan of Disney animation, and while I play a lot of tabletop games, Im not super experienced with trading card games (the only one Ive played for any amount of time is Star Wars: Destiny )
