The concentric circles return in this one, but instead of calm, it gives a motion sickness-inducing whirlwind effect, as the poor mage can never make sense of the true world again! His Willpower is a modest 4, however, so while this can be good for getting extra Lore near the end of the game, I'm not quite sold that it's a good card to play early on, especially on its own

While artifacts are colorless cards and can fit into any deck, selecting the most effective artifact card draw cards requires knowledge and strategy
I think this is way better than people are giving it credit for in online reviews, since they say "Why spend mana or lose life to cast your foe's stuff in other decks you aren't built around?" This has little value to them, and I couldn't disagree more, let's look at why
