I also really like it for decks like Isshin or that regularly take extra combats, as it helps to squeeze ever more value out of attacking

Sure, theres a cute critter in the middle that many will likely care about exclusively, but its neat to see the TCG brew up a way for kids to immediately use their cards to play with each other and perhaps gain some interest in the full games rules
I don't really know if it's command-zone worthy to build around, but in decks that want to reuse some Overrun effects or Elf decks that have some room to play with, I can see him making a big swing
