And shout outs to Rogue Refiner, Treasure Keeper, Scrap Trawler, Renegade's Getaway and Kari Zev, Skyship Raider, who seems a bit like Sinbad to me
The Ozolith (sorely in need of another reprint) works great here, since each time Me leaves the battlefield, you get to put counters on The Ozolith equal to those on Me
If you just paid some life and named two colors when you played a fetchland, and that land tapped for mana of those two colors for the rest of the game, theyd be better than all the other lands in Modern, but on top of that, they trigger landfall twice, count toward delirium, trigger revolt, allow you to shuffle your deck if you need to, and interact with a variety of other mechanics, as well as marginally thinning your deck. Fetchlands are fantastic, and were allowed to play up to 40 of them, but even though people play twenty to 24 lands, they rarely play more than twelve fetchlands
If an effect allows you to spend mana "as though it were mana" of any color or type, that allows you to spend mana you couldn't otherwise spend, but it doesn't change what mana you spent to cast the spell
14 Kadena, Slinking Sorcerer Morph Never Looked So Valuable For those looking to make use of the Morph mechanic, there are few better Sultai commanders choices than Kadena, Slinking Sorcerer
Despite being significantly worse than the original Demonic Tutor, its still more than good enough to see play in both Commander and Legacy
