they really stuck to their guns on the whole Horror thing

The deck is built around low-cost Vampires with powerful ETB abilities and lifegain synergies that keep you healthy while your opponents fall to the horde

The effect also doesn't end at the end of your turn , giving you the flexibility to attack one opponent at a time if they also happen to have a few giant blockers on hand

You do not get all of that for a mere 2 mana

it just counters any noncreature spells including artifact and Planeswalker spells without any other restrictive conditions
