Youre still looking at an excellent Commander precon here, just one thats not, ironically, exploring too much new territory
Similarly, cards that count card types in graveyards (like delirium cards or Tarmogoyf) will always see MDFCs as their front side, and will not count the back half of the card at all
A good pair of examples might be Dualcaster Mage for the copying of spells or Species Specialist for card draw in dire situations
Some of these cards are Standard-legal, but only because previous printings are what put them in Standard (Monstrous Rage from Wilds of Eldraine is reprinted in MAR but is still banned in Standard, for example)
MTG Arena now has its own cards to deal with, so youll find cards there you cant get elsewhere - and they have to be designed as well, which surely puts more pressure on the teams doing so
