Both of these cards are pretty powerful for a core set, and (in my opinion) point to a slight change in approach for the R&D team in how they view Core Sets
Its a reminder that a) you dont actually need to include The Best option for every single card slot in the deck for it to be enjoyable, and b) if everyone does this, games end up actually being more dynamic, engaging, and enjoyable in the process
Its strange that Wizards chose to include a card not from the Spider-Man set in this promo line, mind you
This numbering gets only more complicated when you factor in digital-only sets that have been released on Magic: The Gathering Online and Arena, or sets that were released in specific regions and were not available in all parts of the world
