Of course, it doesnt prevent any damage to itself, which is a bummer, but the ability to slap this card down and then play a Star of Extinction with a full board putting 20 +1/+1 counters on all of your creatures (except for Vigor) is a play that will likely cause your foe to concede on the spot
The more you can fill your graveyard with various card types, either by naturally having your creatures die or by casting spells, or by self-milling, the faster you'll get to reap the rewards of your Delirium cards
But it's a mere coin flip against most of deck archetypes and struggles mightily against Amber/Ruby, which could be its death knell if that deck continues to gain in popularity
