When we identified the need, we were at a spot in the timeline where we had two choices: delay this launchincluding the Commander Workshopuntil MH3, or release it for OTJ without a way for existing accounts to acquire the cards in the updated kits directly from the Store
Thematically, the deck plays very well and it has some interesting cards for Commander too
Another thing to note is this deck is better in 1v1 games rather than multiplayer

That still leaves a lot of room to the imagination, but Ill be digging up commanders with unique rules text, ones that ask you to build around a unique subcategory of cards, or ones that require warping an entire deck around them, preferably something youd never build without that exact commander encouraging you to do it
