I think you can see this in some Simic decks in Standard, and I do think counter-based decks (not counter spell, mind you) might get a little bit of growth, or some attempted growth, in Standard thanks to this set

There are no new cards in Lorwyn Eclipsed that put +1/+1 counters on anything, but there is a rule that kicks in if a permanent has both +1/+1 and -1/-1 counters on it
