Add to that the fact that this deck really needs Heroes out on the battlefield to amp up, it can kind of telegraph to your opponent what they need to do in order to dismantle your plan of attack
The easiest way to win this way is to remove all cards from your library, either by drawing all the cards (Blue Sun's Zenith), milling them (Altar of Dementia), or exiling them (Demonic Consultation)
For example, the siege subtype lets you basically assign it to an opponent to protect, then everyone else can attack it and it transforms into the backside when it's defeated
In an Arixmethes, Slumbering Isle deck, a ramp spell that you can cast on turns 1-2 would mean you can cast your commander on turn 3, making 1-2cmc ramp is far more valuable than 3+cmc ramp
Bant Panorama must be sacrificed to activate its color balance ability
