These were generally cards that were seen to be too problematic when you always had access to them from the command zone (Rofellos, Llanowar Emissary is a great example, as it could consistently come out on turn 2, or even turn 1 with a particularly spicy hand!)

We've also got Brushfire Elemental, which is technically a 1/1, but, with the help of a single fetch land and its landfall ability, can turn into a 5/5 on Turn 3

Stealing their stuff RULES and with Reito Lantern and Reito Sentinel (not to mention our old friend Junktroller) putting their graveyard into Mind Flayer's grasp, even the dead get no rest when you play this deck

Combat : Apply damage, put dead creatures in the graveyard, and subtract HP

I have fond memories of playing Stand Rogues with Lurrus of the Dream-Den as my companion, and I understand why its banned in most formats

While they might not still be at the forefront of every deck, they're all worth talking about
