This is the first merfolk precon, but merfolk decks arent exactly fresh and exciting, and they didnt commit very hard to the explore tie-in to make it feel distinct enough from the merfolk decks that have been swimming around for years now
You have a titular Hero character, a number of equipment cards for that hero, and then a deck full of actions that usually represent attacks by that hero

While Wizards cant legally acknowledge the secondary market, because to do so would implicate themselves with regards to gambling laws (yes, cracking packs is a form of gambling if some cards are worth more than others), they can do more to show respect to the game stores that have been selling their products for 30 years
The card felt cool but middle of the road back in the day, and its appeal has only gone down with time
