Pretty soon after the match I started talking to other people and was told something which answered a huge question I had about Magic: The Gathering: why does a card game like this have such an in-depth story
While 30 damage on the opening turn may not sound like a lot, when you factor in all of the other damage infliction this deck can do via poisons status effects, damage pings, and burn, it quickly stacks up
You bring your collection in, they look it over, and you can walk out with cash or store credit the same day
Fortunately, by then Wizards was better about consistently putting expansion symbols on cards, so it's a lot easier to figure out what set they're from.MrTheWalrus MrTheWalrus2017-01-30 04:42:37 +00:00Commented Jan 30, 2017 at 4:42 1@John It does not apply to non-English cards...because the earliest sets don't exist in any other language
While these were definitely problems that are being addressed in modern sets, Ive been of the opinion for years that red is worse off than white ever was in Commander
Dropping some of these cards on Turn 1 can set you up for success, so you should definitely consider adding them to your builds
