I have played (on the draw obviously) Blackmail and had it be better than a Coercion (they had a land I could take!)

They play the same as the normal version, so nothing about the rules or mechanics changes

Not because it's not a good card, mind you: It's one of only two single-mana Changeling creatures, which obviously means that it's going to see play in every Kindred deck from here to kingdom come

Theres plenty of amazing ways to really take advantage of this ability with some sweet payoffs, especially considering dragons like Atarka, World Render and Savage Ventmaw in your list
