I think there is a place for this type of design, it's just a shame that a lot of the cool archetypes that will come from her will probably be overshadowed by the less interesting ones
As well as this, it makes all your lands all MTG land types, perhaps allowing players to get a little experimental with the mana base, or ensuring all your games are super consistent
