(Im looking at you, Characteristic Defining Abilities.) The mechanic played a lot better than expected, especially with this years Magic mostly being played on Arena , which handled all the details of the mechanic for players
...And you'll cast half the spells you would've otherwise, because you'll be spending all your mana on this to make you feel better about how you took a whole turn off last turn to cast it
As such, I just kill an opposing Thief of Sanity and move on with my life, and it has rarely done anything bad when I play against it
The game itself is fun and easy to learn, but still has real strategy
