The level of fanservice is something everybody wanted, and while the battle comes to a halt before the victor is declared, it's an awesome way to end the series.
This release also came with Planechase cards, which was a nice touch (I wasn't a Who fan while I bawled my eyes out after reading Bad Wolf BayBad Wolf Bay)
That goes doubly so for the fact that their card-type is inalienable from the matter at hand
