Giving a card in exchange for reasonably-costed exile removal that can hit enchantments is not to be sniffed at
This is pretty good, it is 7/7 stats, it should be at least a two for one, it is an answer, it provides good defense, some ongoing value and it is reasonable at closing the game
as well as non-combat reuse of comes-into-play creatures (Jilt your own Flametongue Kavu, perhaps?) Barrin's Spite was a rare in this block and served generally the same purpose as Jilt, except that Jilt was an instant, and Jilt allowed you to unsummon your own creature if need be

While a little more narrow than other suspend cards, in the right deck you can go from being wildly behind to back on top for just two mana and two turns
Bombirdier to easily retreat any Pokemon especially if you started with anything other than Zorua
