It does get a little more interesting if you also have some payoffs for putting Enchantments into your graveyard, but I think there are a lot of games where you just dont have the time or resources to bring this thing back Fog effects are almost always bad in Limited, even when they become one-sided

There's no limit to how many stages you can advance through each turn, meaning you could just pay the nine in one turn and have Ascendant Spirit become a useful card draw engine straight away
There is only one card that I dislike from the series and that is because it just makes no sense, but beyond that one, there really are no duds in the bunch
