So while this card wont see much play in Expanded format, theres some viability for it in Standard, and theres plenty of potential for it to get better and better as time goes on, according to Narode
Also particularly useful against massive tokens decks like soldiers or goblins once Sanguine Bond is out
However, due to so much power creep and multiple prize Pokemon, games rarely last for longer than 5 turns nowadays, unless a deck is designed to stall
It really bothered me, although at the time I didn't have the language to well describe why
