I'm definitely jamming it into budget versions of Dralnu, Lich Lord and Kess, Dissident Mage

The card advantage is nice, especially since red and white are traditionally not great at landing the long game in Commander matches

That means it works more like an instruction in the middle of a spell or ability, similar to draw a card

Nothing could sway me in my desire to make the new & improved Wood Elemental

It protects against removal, re-triggers enters and leaves the battlefield effects, and can easily form the basis of a whole Commander deck if you lean hard into the concept
