This is a fast paced game with easy to teach rules but also has enough strategy depth to be engaging and tactical

It isnt a mechanic that does anything on its own, but if you have Lessons in your sideboard, you can get them during the game using any card that says Learn. In other words, when you have a card that has a Learn effect, you get to look at your sideboard and select any card that has the Lesson subtype

Instead of using different layers for the outlines, colors, and shadows of the Pokmon, I layer coats of color one on top of the other, as in a painting

While the art style might not be for everyone, the cute moment of Eevee and Snorlax enjoying what appears to be some Sitrus berries is adorably sweet

Itll be interesting to see how the bend abilities end up working out
