stasis mtg card Old School Magic 93-94 – Prison – Eternal Central remove enchanted creature from combat Magic: The Gathering Stasis Snare

Mossbridge Troll is secretly a 25/25 creature, since it will be pretty easy to tap ten power worth of creatures to pump it up

Choco, Seeker of Paradise also has a Landfall ability that pumps it by +1/+0, but that's just a small bonus

She can run hatebears and stax, like God-Pharaohs Statue and Stone of Erech in order to really throw a spanner in your opponents plans

Gain some more

Plus, while Trouble in Pairss other static ability wont draw you any cards, it will stop your opponents from taking extra turns, something that comes up pretty often in cEDH, be it Time Sieve combo in Tivit, Seller of Secrets or the turbo players Final Fortune turn

The Vault was ideal for Stasis decks and offered quality search at a time when other searching was at best severely limited
