The player who has the initiative ventures into the Undercity dungeon on their upkeep as opposed to drawing a card on their end step (like with monarch)
It also has synergy with other Musketeer characters by powering them up
Decks led by Myrel, Shield of Argive or Baylen, the Haymaker get incredible mileage out of it, turning disposable creatures into lethal attackers
I like that build to a late game lock, kind of like counter balance/top in legacy or the old school disrupting scepeter/moat lock of weissmen control
