They're amazing in the deck but if your playgroup hates it then swap them out for something else, like Howlpack Resurgence, Master of the Wild Hunt, Worldly Tutor, and Finale of Devastation
The fact they printed this on a one drop is insane, I dont feel the limit of only spending it on activated abilities was enough to make this card cost just a singular mana, especially with the amount of only once per turn cards weve seen in the last few years
That said, it commits you to going heavy red, the worst color, and at any point in the game past the first few turns its quite weak
These modes are less daunting than drafting, as they allow players to bring in their decks rather than create them as part of the event
It isn't any specific cards that have really changed things, Fatal Push would be the biggest contributor if I had to name one
