It's also the reason that some newer cards exist, spawning out Wavesifter, Nulldrifter, and Hulldrifter, and probably also the inspiration for Thought Monitor and Cloudblazer

While some might find this to be a damper on fun, I prefer to view it as a deckbuilding challenge
