Bayou Bayou is an automatic addition in non-budget multi-colored decks, especially for Commander partner decks running three or more colors

In case it matters for answering this question, I'm mostly interested in: Commander casual play (winning is not my main goal) multiplayer

Their present state is truly horrific, like something out of a Saw film

That single ability shuts down removal, ruins combat math, and makes attacking into your board a nightmare

It does have to die for its ability to trigger, and that means you can use it as sacrifice fodder

These are certainly very respectable and powerful creatures, so just because they arent always a creature doesnt mean they arent worth talking about
