The tokens it generates arent big but generate plenty of board presence that works incredibly well with cards that care about a number of fliers like Tide Skimmer or Favorable Winds
Decks that have done well at recent large tournaments like Regionals and Internationals are especially popular with many players so being prepared to play against these decks can be especially helpful when preparing for your first tournament with your new deck
It is also interesting to note that if both monsters are on the same side of the field and for some reason this card does not attack, their rivalry arises at the End Phase, when their owner must choose to either destroy this card with the effect of "Red Dragon Archfiend" or negate its effect with this card
However, this also means that there are some rather strange looking cards out there too
A further variant introduced during Scarlet & Violet, Tera Pokmon ex, feature Terastallized Pokmon with a crystallised appearance in their artwork, potentially different types from the standard card and cannot take any damage while on the players bench
