Doing quests to defeat these creatures for a card reward (any black card, any sorcery, etc) is a good way to fill out the remaining rare slots in your deck like more Contracts and the dual lands
Granted, Im in the camp that thinks WotCs desire to break away from the lore of Dominaria is kind of really stupid, but functional reprints are always fine in my book, and they typically make for sweet cube inclusions since they usually offer effects that you WANT to be redundant
