To disappear cards out of exist is always problematic concerning the Reserved List, that policy is essentially capitalistic in terms of artificially constraining supply to drive up demand to fulfil the profit-seeking motives of those who happened to be alive and possess disposable income when those cards originally came out (which is also ageist against subsequent generations of fans, which any game should hope to nurture for the sake of its ongoing popularity, or even existence) and when the reasoning is to combat problematic text & imagery, one must ask why the proffered solution isnt simply to edit/alter/re-skin/errata, already existing elegant methods of updating cards for contemporary conditions.
