It's an understatement to say that Disney Lorcana has been a success, and the frantic rush for cards is about to kick off again when the second wave drops this November 17
Remember, these are extremely basic, non-competitive decks that are good for teaching people how to play or just playing kitchen table Magic with a friend, but they wont get you anywhere towards building a competitive Constructed deck or a viable Commander deck
Assuming that I add a card to my inkwell every turn and that five-drops are superior to four-drops, I will never have a good chance to play that weaker four-drop, so its the perfect ink fodder
Its an end-game card, thanks to its ink cost, and can withstand a couple of challenges for your quests, allowing you to generate some lore
Then when you swing you toss a +1/+1 counter on any dork and then double them
It's a bit odd - but a cool way of implementing the feature
