Cards like The Queen, Commanding Presence and Gaston, Intellectual Powerhouse are about as tricky as things get, but they simply do what they say on the card and get players used to the powerful (at least in my eyes) shift mechanic, which is a cost reduction method

Trading card items are non-returnable if opened and will not be refunded once opened

Roo Littlest Pirate is a real menace for this, as the strength debuff lasts until your next turn

Levels: Some spells will have effects that change across three different levels depending on the amount of mana paid, indicated by the new keyword Levels. Flashback: The Flashback mechanic returns, this time appearing in a cycle of Towns. Land Cycling: Convenient abilities like land cycling, island cycling, and swamp cycling, which allow players to search their library for specific land types, will also be included
