Scrying for 2, drawing a card, fetching a basic, and flipping a creature from the top of your deck into play with +1/+1 counters and hexproof are all things that I'd love to doand are much stronger than some of the other rooms from AFR (such as draining for one life)
While the continued success of a single deck can make brewing feel futile, as the format appears to be solved, I prefer to think that a solved format is an exploitable format, and while I may not find the solution in time and settle for playing the best deck, I think its best to never give up the quest for the solution weve missed
These cards differ from fakes because the proxy is often modified
For instance: Creatures (16) Lands (22) Spells (22) Sideboard Kotiranta knew his opponents would have a lot of sideboard hate for his fast black aggro deck, but Entomb + Reanimation spells + Vampiric Tutor to help set it up, let him transform into a combo deck that would surprise people with a quick Avatar of Woe or Phantom Nishoba, leaving them looking at the Shock in their hand in disbelief
Doesnt cast Ugin, the Spirit Dragon, Nissas sorcery ramp spells, or Evolutionary Leap, but great at casting Whisperwood Elemental, Oblivion Sower, and Dragonlord Atarka
It is also assumed that most peoples Type 4 stacks will generally be laden with most of the best and most powerful spells, so stuff like a random Instant that destroys target attacking creature and does nothing else probably isnt going to cut it when there are many better options available
